The Elf on the Shelf chart that is about to take the stress out of your December

Only three more sleeps, parents.

On Tuesday, we are officially in December, and if your family has a resident elf who visits this time every year, well, then prepare yourself, because your mischievous little pal is about to arrive back from the North Pole once more.

I don't know about you, but I find myself a little stressed out every night our two(!) elves (Snowflake and Frosty, btw) are here. Because as we all know, those things don't exactly move themselves, and having to come up with new places to put them and new funny tricks they can do tends to get a little exhausting after a few nights, no?

However, we might just have found the solution, guys.

This chart, from the ARTventurers Newcastle and Gateshead Facebook page, is about to make December a whole lot easier for all of us.

Basically, it's Elf on the Shelf calendar, showing the month of December, with each date filled in with a different Elf on the Shelf idea.

Here is what the group wrote about their clever chart:

‘If you're doing Elf on the Shelf this year then you NEED our ARTventurers Elf planning calendAr in your life in December!?? ?

‘Feel free to save/share/tag your friends who are also about to join the elf fun!’

You can either use the ideas already on the calendar, or use it as a template to put your own ideas in."

Either way, we reckon it's great for keeping on top of your ideas and having a plan. And just think; never again will you need to Google around, at midnight, for more ideas. Phew!

‘This is literally the best thing’

Other Facebook users, of course, loved the chart:

‘This is literally the best thing you have ever posted ??. Thank you!! X’ – Helen Campbell

‘Love this! Thank you! Our elf goes to mammy and daddy’s house so this will really help us keep track of what he’s been up to! ???xx’ – Gemma Clelland

‘Ok so I was planning on not doing elf this year...but now I think I might!! Thank you!!!’ – Hannah Tomlin
