With three weeks left to go, Zoe’s water broke. To be honest we weren’t even 100 per cent sure that was exactly what had happened, however a quick Google advised heading to the hospital, so off we went. That’s where this Vlog starts.
Both myself and Zoe had quite a lot on that day so we really thought we might be out of Holles Street within a few hours. Turns out we were going to be in there until we were leaving with a baby. Thankfully we were in great hands so neither of us freaked out, we just got on with it.
I knew it was going to take a while so I nipped home for my laptop to do some work. Oh, and The Hospital Bag, of course. That’s how relaxed we were about it, we didn’t even bring the bag in with us.
It’s amazing how boring all the waiting about is. If I was to give a dad tip it would be: bring a book, an iPad, whatever, because you could be hanging around for some time.
