This Bizarre Gender Prediction Test Was A New One On Us, Would YOU Try It?
When it comes to pregnancy, old wives tales are as wild as they are plentiful, but that doesn't mean they're not a fun way to pass the time as you await your new arrival.
The latest so-called 'gender predictor' we've stumbled upon involves just two things: some bicarbonate of soda and... a urine sample.
The experiment is simple. Here's how to do it:
Step 1. Pee in a disposable cup
Step 2. Put two tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda into a separate cup
Step 3. Pour a few drops of your urine onto the bicarbonate of soda.
According to those wise old wives, if the bicarbonate of soda fizzes like a can of shaken soft drink then it’s a boy. If it doesn’t fizz then it's a girl!
