Amazing!

Kildare Village is set to expand once again with the addition of 29 new stores, two new restaurants and a massive 460 new spaces for cars.

The village last expanded in 2015 and this extension is set to be bigger and better with plans of a €50m expansion now granted after being put forward by Value Retail last June.

The expansion plan which comprise of an extra 6,200 square meter centre – the village proposes demolishing a small number of existing shops to integrate a two storey car park on the site as well as the new shop units.

Although the 29 new stores and two new restaurants have yet to be revealed – the latest newcomer to Kildare Village came just before Christmas as they saw Prada join the lineup of luxury stores on offer at the centre.

The addition of these new stores will bring the overall total to 120 shops and 6 restaurants and cafes combined.

The need for new restaurants was one requested by fans of the village for a long time now, as currently Dunne and Crescenzi and Le Pain Quotidien are the only two on offer – with Le Pain Quotidien offering a small range of choice.

We have got in touch with Kildare Village to see when we might know the shops on offer in the latest expansion. We predict some seriously good ones!
