One of the first things to go out the window when I became a mama, was the time I had to style my hair every morning.
Pre-babies, I would not only have the time (and disposable income!) to indulge in weekly blow-dries, but I would also have the time every morning to brush, curl, straighten and even play around with clips and headbands to make sure my hair always looked on point.
Fast forward a few years, and the messy ponytail has become my New Best Friend. (As in; I can’t remember the last time I actually wore my hair in any other way, and frequently get surprised at how long my hair has gotten every time I let it down!)
The thing is, I would actually love to change things up a little from time to time, but, as you know, ladies, time is of an essence.
Luckily, I came across these three little tweaks that I am so going to try out. New look with minimal effort, what’s not to love?!
1. Looped Pony
A low ponytail is a classic and easy hairstyle, but to change it up, go for a loop instead. All you have to do is pull your hair back and start to make a regular ponytail, but don’t pull it all the way through. See; super-stylish!

2. Braided Bun
When you don’t have time to shower in the morning (who has?!), it can be easy to throw your hair up into a ponytail. But if you want to change things up a little, try the braided bun instead.
All you do is prep your hair with mousse, and then pull hair into a high ponytail. Make a loose braid and then secure the end with an elastic. Loosen the braid some more, wrap it around and pin it.
Voila!

3. Skip the Brush
When you wash your hair and blow-dry it, most of us will use a brush. But if you drop the brush and instead just use your hands to loosely comb through your hair, your hair’s natural texture will show, and give you a different, more wavy look.
A spritz of spray, and you are good to go!
