This is how much it cost to dress Meghan Markle for the entire royal tour
We take our hats off to Meghan Markle.
Not only was this her first lengthy royal tour, but it was also her first tour as a married woman and she absolutely killed it. With 16 days of royal engagements, 40 outfits, endless hours in heels, constant smiles ALL while being pregnant, she proved she is well and truly made for this role and takes it in her stride.
And over the past two weeks, we've been doing very little besides eyeballing all her incredible outfits, from jaw-dropping Oscar de la Renta ball gowns to rule breaking Adidas trainers - her tour wardrobe is one we've admired and dreamt of having.
But dreaming is all we'll be doing after Hello! published the estimated bill for her tour suitcase. Including new items, reused items, shoes, bags and jewels (heirlooms excluded), the publication gave a detailed total and eh, brace yourselves.
To dress the Duchess of Sussex for 16 days cost a staggering £117,109.09 (€132,539.50).
Breaking it down, Meghan's shoe wardrobe alone cost over £6,400 (€7,200) and the most expensive item worn by the royal was a piece of jewellery. A necklace by British jeweller, Jessica McCormack which is pictured below.
Divine. The royals are expected to land in the UK this evening having travelled from Auckland.
