You love to see it.

While light pink pointe shoes may be seen as the standard, that’s actually because many pointe shoe companies don’t make them for every skin tone.

However, that is about to change as shoe company BLOCH, have created a diverse range of pointe shoes to compliment every skin tone.

Following the launch of BLOCH’s first shade earlier this year, the full stock of all four colours is now available.

Each colourway in the collection was meticulously planned and developed in partnership with incredible dancers from the BLOCH community to get their invaluable input.

The team had particular focus on the depth and importance of undertones to ensure they created the very best satin shades that harmonize with a variety of skin tones.

The B29 was the first shade to launch in this series of complementary skin tone shades. A warm rich brown with a subtle hint of red undertones is available in the bestselling styles, Heritage and European Balance.

A spokesperson for BLOCH, who spoke to us this week, had this to say about the new range;

“At BLOCH, we’re dedicated to our ongoing commitment to inclusivity and embracing the beauty of diverse complexions.

Over the years we have introduced a number of complementary skin tone shades and have been listening to our dance community to develop this exciting introduction to our Pointe shoe range.”

The three further colourways now available include:
· The B31, a deeper shade of brown with a strong depth of red undertone
· The B27, a golden brown with a hint of yellow and peach undertones
· The B24, a paler peachy tan with subtle yellow undertones.

The new range is available at all BLOCH stores and at blochworld.com as well as selected dancewear retailers worldwide.
