Cheryl can’t get enough of THIS budget beauty buy these days

We love her realistic approach to new mum beauty!

Just like any of us who have ever been in the throes of new motherhood, Cheryl Tweedy (yes, she has reverted to using her old surename now) has admitted that when it comes to her beauty regime, things are looking rather different these days.

The new mum, who welcomed son Bear with boyfriend Liam Payne earlier this year, chatted to Vogue for their November issue and dished on how she makes time for herself now that she is a mama.

When it comes to skincare, the 34-year-old explains that her first few months of motherhood saw her abandon anything even resembling a routine.

“Because you get up, you’re with the baby, he naps maybe two or three times a day and in that time that he’s napping you’re doing all the other stuff that needs to be done, like washing up and cleaning his clothes. So you don’t really have time for yourself, in the beginning,” she explains. “It’s not until you adjust and get into a pattern with your child that you can then start making new time, which has just been recently for me. It’s like: oh my god I’d forgotten about all this!”

However, Cheryl, who just launched her new lip collection with L’Oréal Paris, admits there are things she won’t skimp on, regardless. “I do cleanse before bed – whether or not I’m wearing make-up, because of pollution and things like that – and I do drink a lot of water. And wearing an SPF is vital.”

As for her number one beauty saviour, Cheryl admits to being a budget girl after our own hearts:

“Coconut oil is amazing. You can use it on your hair, as a mask, on your face, on your body, in your bath, you can eat it, you can put it on the baby… And I started putting oils in the bath with me, oils like Bio Oil, so when I get out I’m already moisturised. It’s one less thing to do.”

Just take care when using in the bath, she warns:

“Be careful you don’t slip – I don’t want to be responsible for that!”
