A denim dress is about to become your wardrobe staple for spring 2022

When it comes to wardrobe staples, I think we can all agree jeans would feature pretty high up on that list. And for good reason – it is hard to imagine a modern woman's wardrobe these days without a pair (or more) of denims.

However – if you wanted to feel just that little bit more dressed up – a desire I certainly have after now almost two years of slobbing around in yoga pants and sweats day in and day out – how about upgrading to a denim dress...?

Still the same material we all know and love, hardy, substantial, classic – but in dress form.

Trust me – a denim dress is not only ultra-trendy right now – you will find versions of it in every high street store at the moment – but you will also be surprised at just how versatile this buy is. Go for a midi length for a more classic look, or keep the hemline shorter and wear with some woolly tights for now – and bare, tanned legs come spring – honestly, it is hard to get it wrong when it comes to denim dresses.

And the best news? You can totally wear them with runners or sneakers – because comfort, obvs!
