This major 2019 wedding dress trend will look stunning in photos

Whether your style is timeless and classic or you enjoy keeping up to date with changing fashions, when it comes to weddings you’ll want to check out every dress trend going.

Bridal Fashion Week is the ideal way to keep abreast of what’s going to feature for the year ahead and there’s one key look proving a big hit so far.

While we’ve always loved full-sleeved wedding dresses (Grace Kelly, Kate Middleton and the bespoke Dior beauty worn by Miranda Kerr to name but a few), for 2018 it’s all about the statement sleeve.

While these designs are way out of budget because let’s face it, weddings are expensive, there’s still lots of inspiration from these beautiful dresses.

As you’ll see from the images below, some of bridal’s biggest names including Galia Lahav and Reem Acra have designed gowns where the sleeve detail is breathtaking.

Although lace sleeves have always been a popular choice, it looks like we might be seeing a lot more sleeve options from next year.

I mean why have sleeves, when you can have WINGS? The below from Galia Lahav combines the idea of statement sleeves together with a caped effect and the overall look is breathtaking.

As you’ll see from the following Instagram posts, it looks like sleeves could well be the next BIG bridal trend.

There’s also the option to go for a cropped top with long sleeves like these divine Theia creations, the work of Kerry-born designer Don O’Neill.
