The €20 Zara dress that looks set to be fashion’s must-have item for winter 2019

Cathy Donohue

The Zara dress.

If like me, you find yourself scrolling Instagram for fashion finds, you might have noticed one item start to crop up.

Ganni’s animal print dress has become of this season’s cult items and it’s no major surprise considering the widespread love for this particular pattern.

If you can’t justify the price tag, you’ll be delighted to know that there’s a very similar version in Zara at the moment.

It’s the Printed Midi Dress and it’s priced at €19.95 which is a pretty decent bargain when all is said and done.

As you’ll see for yourself, it looks a lot more expensive and it’s the kind of versatile item you can style various ways.

We have to credit The Summer Mama with alerting us to this fab piece and as with all trending items, it’s likely to sell out before long.

She’s styled it impeccably here with black boots and the beauty of this piece is you could add a belt if you wanted to change it up – loose, figure-fitting, wear as a skirt…so many ways to wear this gorgeous Zara dress.

I don’t know what it is with Ganni , but I’m just in love with so many of their dresses, particularly the leopardprint variety. I’d lusted after this one for quite awhile, so when I saw the Zara one I’m wearing in store for a whopping great big €19.99 I had to have it. High street Ganni vibes right there my friends. Winterise with chunky sweater over it et voila, a beautiful leopard print skirt. I’ll link both dresses on stories after schoolrun! Have a beautiful Wednesday! . . . #outfitoftheday #outfitideas #highstreetstyle #affordablefashion #discoverunder20k #stylishmums #gannidress #zaradress #lookwhatifound #whowhatwear #stylingtheseasons #animalprint #neutraltones #fashionover40 #stylish40s #mylooktoday #ganni #hikingboots #editorialphotography #whatweworeonwednesday @stealmystyle40 @whatkathydidnext

At the moment, it’s available in all sizes but that’s likely to change very quickly and just to be on the safe side, I’ve already snapped one up.

I’m planning to wear this particular must-have with biker style boots and a blazer for daytime but it would be perfect with a chunky knit and the western style boots that are so popular this season.

You could totally dress it up too by adding sandals and a pair of statement hoops and that’s three outfits already.

From the sleeve length to the tiered detail, it’s a fab piece and is an absolute steal for under €20.

Zara has some seriously good pieces at the moment but this is definitely one of the best bargains we’ve found so far this season.
