We actually can’t get over how expensive this gorgeous €20 Zara dress looks

Cathy Donohue

The €20 Zara dress that looks like a designer piece.

I’m all about an affordable new season buy particularly when it’s a bargain at such a good price.

Zara’s Combined Dress is one of those must-have, need-now pieces and as you’ll see below, it really could pass for a high-end look when it’s actually straight from the high street.

The mix of fabrics adds a luxe feel and it appears as a two-piece when in reality, it’s a dress.

The lightweight jumper is perfect for this time of year but when temperatures drop in the coming weeks, this piece can be easily layered which is a major advantage.

The Combined Dress is priced at €19.95 and it’s one of those great basics that the Spanish retailer does so well.

An added bonus is the fact that I’ve been after a satin slip skirt for quite some time now and it’s impossible to find a plain option without side slits (far too cold for that style right now).

So with this €20 Zara dress, I’m getting a skirt, top and dress for the price of one item, news which has made Monday so much better.

However, on the other end of the scale, there is this rather stunning printed piece, which is considerably more expensive at €79.95.

It’s the ‘Printed Dress with Pleated Skirt’ to give it its full description.

The pattern looks like it came straight from the catwalk and although it’s not cheap at €79.95, this is an item you would have for years, a true investment piece.

That Gucci inspired print, I mean how fab?!

The neck-tie, the midi-length, the belted waist… the detail is just stunning and although it’s not cheap, this is a dress you would have for years and will garner compliments season after season.
