H&M Home launch furniture and lighting collection and we pretty much want it all

For budget-friendly furnishings with a modern edge, look no further.

Whenever I am home in my native Oslo, H&M Home is just one of those stores I cannot leave without having visited. Ever since their launch as textiles and interiors concept in 2009, I have been obsessed with their seriously budget friendly interior bits, such as their gorgeous rance of pure linen bed sheets and their bang-on-trend kitchenware.

As of yet, there are no physical H&M Home stores here in Ireland, but you can shop the entire range online.

And now, guys, now the Swedish mega-store have expanded their interior offering to, for the first time, include small furniture and lighting.

H&M Home now sells design-focused benches, stools, pouffes, side tables and wall shelves, along with varying lighting options – from table lamps to bamboo hanging shades. The collection is priced between €22.99 and €99.99.

There is a clean,  Scandinavian simplicity to the collection, and despite the low prices, there is a classic and timeless feel to the pieces.

lean, modern lines, cubist shapes and versatile materials, such as marble and powder-coated steal, feature strongly, although there is also a selection of softer silhouettes and natural materials with key pieces including fabric pouffes in light beige or black and grey stools.

This is what Mattias Chrisander, product designer at H&M Home, had to say about the launch:

“Each piece of our new furniture line has been carefully designed to not only fit effortlessly into any room, but also express timeless design and diversity in style. We are very excited about this launch.”
