The dad-to-be purchased a new home with his wife Sheena last year.

Former Irish international Jamie Heaslip is getting excited about his home renovation as he and his wife prepare to welcome their first child.

The pair moved into their new home in Dublin 4 recently, which is said to have cost them over €1.3million, and now the dad-to-be has been sharing some pictures of how the renovations are coming along.

Posting a collage on Instagram, Jamie said:

“Think this is what I’ve been most excited about pimping out the house.”

Jamie’s picture gave his near 150,000 followers a glimpse at the family’s new kitchen and what appears to be an impressive bedroom.

Using the hashtag #NearlyThere, Jamie gave a shout out to Newcastle Design who are helping with the remodel.

It’s a name that’s become known to many on Instagram as of later as it’s the same company Pippa O’Connor used for her recent home makeover.

However, it looks like there may be a little bit to go before Jamie is showing off the finished product to fans.

But going by some of the other projects the design company have completed lately, the rugby star’s home is going to be the stuff of Instagram dreams.

Jamie and Sheena are no doubt in a rush to get their new home finished in time for the arrival of their first child.

The pair announced the news earlier this year that they were expecting baby number one, simply saying:

“It’s an exciting time for us.”

Jamie and Sheena married back in August 2016, after six-years together and now prepare to welcome their first child.
