Meghan Markle wore these jeans and now there’s a waiting list

Similar to ‘The Kate Middleton Effect’, pretty much everything Meghan Markle wears is selling out in record time.

Last week, the navy and white J Crew coat she wore for an appearance in Birmingham on International Women’s Day sold out and according to reports, jeans worn by the future royal are in high demand.

During a visit to Cardiff Castle in January, Meghan wore a pair of black denims from a brand named Huit, priced at £230 (€260).

Although you can’t see them properly in the paparazzi shots as Meghan was wearing a long coat over her outfit, they’re thought to be the ‘Dina’ style which you can check out in the below Instagram post.

The UK-based denim firm has hired more staff after orders racked up and there’s now a three-month waiting list for the much-coveted denim.

Orders are said to be coming in from all over the world including New York and Paris after the former Suits actress was pictured in said jeans.

The company was founded by David Hieatt and his wife Claire, and the overnight success has proved demanding for the jean brand.

Next to be made. The Dina.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, David said:

“The website went absolutely crazy. We have a backorder waiting list for three months”.

“We are having two more people in and we’re moving to a new factory. The effect has been remarkable”.
