Good woman yourself.

Any seasoned royal watcher will know that sartorial diplomacy is a must for the Queen and co when they travel abroad.

Choosing an outfit in accordance with a certain country’s history and culture is a nod of acknowledgement from the royals, showing that they’ve done their homework and that they respect their hosts.

It’s likely the reason that Kate Middleton has opted for a green outfit for tonight’s royal engagement in Belfast.

The Duchess of Cambridge turned heads when she arrived at the city’s Empire Music Hall this evening in a sparkly green cocktail dress by Missoni.

She accessorised with a small nude clutch, her trademark nude heels and minimal makeup to let the gúna do all the talking.

Kate and William are visiting for two days to meet some of Northern Ireland’s most impressive young people.

It’s William’s first visit to the city since October 2017, when Kate stayed at home as she was pregnant with Prince Louis.

They started their visit with a trip to to Windsor Park today, where they got some insight into community football projects and had a kick about.

The royal couple then headed to Fermanagh, where they visited a youth centre.
