Kate Middleton’s mint green coat is the perfect maternity cape

Stunning.

With a mere month to go before her due date, Kate Middleton has been nonstop with the royal engagements.

Today, the Duchess was attending a symposium at the Royal Society of Medicine in London.

The mum-to-be was meeting leading academics and charities championing early intervention into the lives of children, but it wouldn’t be a Kate Middleton engagement without consideration of her outfit – and today was a particularly good one.

Kate wore a mint green coat by designer Jenny Packham, teamed with a mint dress and suede heels.

Basically, she looked effortlessly good for a woman who’s eight months pregnant and we are intensely jealous of her.

The cape though is the piece that we can’t really get over – the bow detail isn’t only adorable, it’s also seriously handy for keeping a coat across your shoulders when you’re expecting and can’t really be squeezing into all your old jackets.

It also means that Kate’ll be able to wear the coat again when she’s not expecting – which may not be her biggest concern but for the rest of us, it’s not exactly a bad piece to invest in.

If you’re not convinced on spending a good bit of cash on a Jenny Packham coat though, there’s always going to be other ones available on the high street for even cheaper prices.
