Kate Middleton’s tights and heels hack is one we’re all tempted to try

Genius!

There is nothing worse than slipping in tights and heels.

You know the feeling… you put on a fresh pair of tights, then you put on your heels and unfortunately, spend the day scrunching your toes to stop you from catapulting straight out of them. Disaster.

So, you can be sure Duchess Kate, who wears tights and heels at every public appearance has a trick up her sleeve to make sure she never suffers a shoe slip up.

According to Harpers Bazaar, the Duchess of Cambridge wears sticky pads on her tights to make sure everything stays in place and solid as a rock, tactical.

And her choice of stockings? John Lewis’ “7 Denier Barely There Non-Slip Tights“. For €6, if they’re good enough for Kate, they’re surely worth a test-drive.

And you can believe Kate certainly has a couple packs of these tights as according to Business Insider, Queen Elizabeth requires that women in the royal family wear stockings at many formal public appearances.

According to Royal expert Victoria Arbiter who spoke about the royals use of stockings, he said: “I would say that’s really the only hard, steadfast rule in terms of what the Queen requires.” And since tying the knot, it looks like Meghan Markle has too obeyed by this rule, wearing stockings at many public appearances for the first time including at the opening of the Mersey Gateway Bridge recently.
