Did you see it? Kate Middleton wore the most beautiful cream dress last night

Cathy Donohue

A dress of dreams.

Kate Middleton attended a charity gala event last night to give a speech in her role as patron for Action on Addiction.

The mum of three is no stranger to recycling her outfits and last night’s dress is one of my favourite looks to date.

The Barbara Casasola dress estimated at £1,580 is an off-the-shoulder design in a stunning cream/off white shade and it fits her like a glove.

A pretty pricey piece working out to about €1,780 so to apply the thrifty cost per wear principle, the Duchess will need to wear it a lot more.

I remember her wearing this dress in 2016 when she presented a prize for the  Art Fund Museum of the Year and it really is one of Kate Middleton’s most memorable looks.

It’s a much more modern design than the coat dresses and ballgowns Kate is often pictured in and here’s hoping we see more of these type of outfit choices.

Speaking about the work undertaken by Action on Accdition, the Duchess of Cambridge said:

“Action on Addiction was one of my very first patronages, and as such, it is very close to my heart.

I’m hugely passionate about the support it provides, especially for parents, children and families who suffer from, or through, addiction.

And in some ways, it was the catalyst for my interest in early childhood development too.

For the last few years, I’ve been focussing on the importance of prevention: how can we all really support the earliest years of life, build foundations, and help avoid adversity later on in life”.
