Meghan isn’t allowed to wear these shoes around the Queen and we would be raging

Cathy Donohue

Ah now.

Earlier this week, we discovered that the Queen hates garlic and so, people avoid eating it in her company.

I mean seriously garlic, an essential ingredient for many a delicious pasta sauce and hello, garlic bread, the comfort food to beat all comfort foods, but look Meghan and Kate aren’t allowed sample such delights in front of Her Majesty.

It also turns out that they’re not allowed wear wedges heels because the Queen has a serious aversion to this particular shoe style.

Now, you’re probably thinking that Kate is partial to a wedged shoe and you’d be right in that assumption but the thing is that she keeps them for outings where the Queen isn’t present.

Ah, it all makes sense now.

A royal insider previously revealed this inside conversation when speaking to Vanity Fair.

“The Queen isn’t a fan of wedged shoes. She really doesn’t like them and it’s well known among the women in the family.”

Bit annoying really as espadrilles often have wedged heels and they’re just so fab for summer style.

Still, we don’t imagine that Meghan or Kate, in fact, will lose any sleep over the fact that they’re not permitted to wear wedges at certain times.

The Queen

They have plenty of other fab choices including these stunning Aquazzura heels, worn by Meghan recently.
