We have been so busy swooning over the British royals and their style, but between Meghan’s maternity perfection and never-set-a-foot-wrong Kate, it seems we have been missing out on some serious outfit inspiration from another European royal, who, we dare say, is actually even surpassing both Kate and Meghan in the fashion stakes.
Say hello to Queen Letizia of Spain – who, much like Meghan, is also a ‘commoner’ who married a Prince (Felipe, now the reigning King of Spain), has two adorable children (Princess Leonor and Princess Sofia) and, most importantly, knows how to dress for any occasion.
Yes, that’s right. This Madrid-based mama, who was actually a news reporter on Spanish TV before entering into royal life, never sets a foot wrong when it comes to style choices, and has even been known to wear super-sexy leather pants on official royal events.
45-year-old Letizia is also, like Kate, a big fan of high street favourites Zara and Massimo Dutti, and is frequently photographed in both. She also favours sexy pencil skirts and cropped jackets, but also, can rock a ball gown with the best of them, of course.[/caption]
Oh, and we love how this down-to-earth royal also takes her daughters to school herself every day, and is often snapped in dressed-down denim when doing so.
