This is the ONE non-maternity item that has become a staple in Meghan Markle’s maternity wardrobe

Ever since it was first announced, let’s face it – we’ve all been obsessed with Meghan Markle’s maternity wardrobe.

The thing is – being pregnant in winter can be really a bit bleh when it comes to figuring out what to wear (I would know, having endured it twice!).

With all those heavy jumpers and layers and big coats, it’s easy to look less pregnant and glowing, and more like you’ve just been eating too many mince pies over the festive season.

However, it looks like the Duchess of Sussex have got it all sussed out – and this thanks to a wardrobe staple that isn’t even technically a maternity piece.

Meghan’s go-to winter pregnancy look? A knee- or ankle- lenght coat.

Judging by all her latest outings, the royal mama-to-be has got a boatload of these coats in a variety of colors ranging from neutral hues to bright jewel tones.

Long coats, especially wrap-style ones, are not only a chic and elegant option, but are also both figure-flattering and the tie-option is forgiving as her bump continues to grow.

And look, we know Meghan’s coats are probably a little out of our collective budgets, but there are plenty of great options on the high street too – and right now, there are still lots of sales on, meaning you can probably find your own Duchess style coat for next to nothing.
