Party DIY: How to make a cute paper garland

You heard it here first: paper garlands are the new bunting.

The must-have piece of DIY decor for a baby shower entryway or a wedding dessert table, these strings of prettiness can set you back up to €50 a piece online, but with some euro-store crepe, a scissors and some creativity, you can whip up your own, in any colour scheme you fancy, in just an afternoon.

If you’re making these for a wedding or a large party, invite the girls ’round and open the rosé – they’re a ton of fun to assemble around the kitchen table while everyone has a good natter.

When the bash is over, string them across a wall in a nursery or above a headboard in a bedroom.
