So since The Child was born, every time I change his nappy I can’t help myself, I always say “Look at those gorgeous, sexy little baby legs” and compliment him on his “beautiful penis”.
This drives The Man insane. He thinks it’s beyond creepy. And maybe it is a bit creepy, but I can’t help it just comes out. I don’t mean anything by it. I just want The Child to have a positive body image; maybe I’m taking it too far with the beautiful penis. Handsome penis? Would that be better? Maybe The Man is just sad that I’m not saying his penis is beautiful?
Along with my mentioning the beautiful penis, The Man also hates cutesie babygros with slogans of the “I like big boobies, and I cannot lie” ilk or anything that equates a baby’s love of breastfeeding with an adult’s loves of boobies. On this I get him, they’re kind of a pet peeve of mine too though a quick trawl through the Internet told me that not everyone holds such strong views on the matter and threw up some funny and deliciously weird baby outfits.
