It’s all shamrocks and Guinness for Duchess Kate on St Patrick’s Day

There are plenty of people clad in green today – but we dare say that few will look as fancy-pants of the Duchess Of Cambridge.

The British royal was in London earlier today wearing a very lovely fitted green coat, with complementing suede stilettoes and hat.

Kate was with her hubbie, Prince William, to honour the Irish Guards; something of a St Patrick’s Day tradition.

The 35-year-old mum-of-two presented shamrocks to soldiers, petted a very large Irish Wolfhound mascot, and also got to sip a pint of Guinness.

See, she’s just like the rest of us!

And for anyone interested in buying her fit-and-flare coat (which also boasts gorgeous detail on the collar and cuffs, as well as oversized gold buttons) – you can’t; it’s a  bespoke creation by Catherine Walker.
