Let’s be honest, Pippa Middleton’s wedding was probably the most talked about wedding of 2017 with rumours flying about the dress, the venue, the bridesmaids etc.
On the day itself, we were ridiculously excited to see what type of gown the bride would choose but also what her sister, The Duchess of Cambridge, or Kate Middleton as she’s widely known, would wear for such a special occasion.
Pippa’s bridal look was a bespoke gown designed by Giles Deacon and Kate opted for an Alexander McQueen midi-length dress, in pale pink bordering on peach complemented by a matching hat.
However, it’s since been pointed out that this wasn’t the dress the mother of two left Kensington Palace in that morning.
As eagle-eyed fans of Kate have pointed out, in the pictures where she and Prince William are on route to Pippa’s wedding, she’s wearing a different dress (although the headpiece is firmly in place) and it’s been pinpointed as a Zara number from last year’s collection.
Yes, Kate’s Closet among a number of other sites dedicated to the Duchess has drawn our attention to the similarities between Kate’s dress on route to the ceremony and the Zara item from last year.

The Zara item (priced around €50) was included in the spring summer 2016 collection so you haven’t got much chance of getting your hands at it BUT the good news is there’s multiple floral options available from the high-street retailer now.
