Kate Middleton’s leopard-print skirt has to be the fashion bargain of the week.
The Duchess of Cambridge, aka Kate Middleton, was pictured in the statement midi-length piece during an official engagement this week and unsurprisingly, everyone wants it.
However, this particular item is from the sale section and it looks like the mum of three probably purchased the item before it was heavily discounted in the winter sale.
The skirt was originally priced at €39.95 but reduced to just €9.99 in the last few weeks.
Kate is proving to be a major Zara fan, only last week she wore a monochrome dress also from the Spanish retailer.
The pleated effect, the leopard-print pattern and the perfect length – it’s such a versatile piece and even though Kate’s exact skirt is now sold out, there are plenty of similar items available.
Kate paired the look with a camel coat by Massimo Dutti, a designer Meghan Markle is also very fond of and similar to the skirt, the coat is now sold out too.
The Kate Effect, whereby pieces sell out as soon as the Duchess wears them, is in fact a real thing folks.
Yesterday, she visited the Ely and Careau Children’s Centre in Cardiff where she met with parents and staff, with the meeting coinciding with the launch of her #5BigQuestions surgery.
As per Kensington Palace:
“The launch of the survey follows eight years of work by The Duchess, in which she has explored how experiences in early childhood often lie at the root of the hardest social challenges the country faces today”.
Kate has always been passionate about the early childhood years and the survery has been implemented to “facilitate the biggest every conversation on early childhood”.
