Lucky little Rex!

When it comes to tackling renovations or DIY projects, Stacey Solomon is no newbie.

The mum-of-three often shares images and videos of herself upcycling bits for her home, crafting and organising, and right now, the Loose Women presenter has taken to Instagram to reveal the makeover she gave her one-year-old’s bedroom in their new home – and it is amazing.

“Rex’s Room  – ???? ✔️ FINALLY…” she captioned the series of images of the tot’s new room.

“I’m so proud of this little room. I hope you make so many memories and happy thoughts in here pickle.”

Solomon explains that both herself and Rex himself has worked so hard on this room.

“To try and make him a special space and we are so so proud of it! It’s the first bedroom we could complete because it didn’t need any building, electrics or wardrobes fitted so we just painted and jazzed up what was in there already… I love it so so much and I can not wait to watch you grow up in here little one, just not too quickly please!”

How cute are the floating pandas?!

The mainly white and grey room features a large panda motif on the wall, with the panda theme running through to the bed and duvet cover. There’s also meaningful wall art and a large fireplace.

It has only been a few weeks since Solomon and her fiancée Joe Swash moved into their new home, which Stacey soon dubbed ‘Pickle Cottage,” but the 31-year-old has already managed to transform several rooms in her new house.”

In a video posted to Instagram stories, Stacey showed how she was busy painting a balloon next to the pandas and told her followers:

“My sister dropped a little label around this morning on her way to the school run and it motivated me while pickle is sleeping to do this…

‘Sooo many of you messaged me to say if you paint a balloon at the top of the pandas it’ll look better, so I took your advice..”

‘Not me sitting here crying at a wall!

‘The best thing in life to hold onto is each other… And bums, don’t forget bums!”

In Rex’ adorable room, Stacey has also made room for a craft corner, complete with a chalkboard and labelled storage unit for his toys, such as trains, dinosaurs and vegetables. The crafty mum even added a roll of drawing paper for him to doodle on.
