Style: 1970s inspired pieces from M&S that we need for our summer wardrobe

Melissa Carton

The 70s are back.

Everywhere you look there’s bright colours, graphic prints and flares.

The 1970s style is back in a big way, from high street to high fashion and we all need to own a little piece of ourselves for our summer wardrobe.

M&S recently launched their new SS22 collection which heavily featured 70s inspired outfits and these four are the ones we think everyone should own.

1. Autograph floral print dress €135

The SS22 Autograph celebrates a more relaxed aesthetic featuring refined detailing, a confident exploration of colour and flattering feminine silhouettes.

2. Autography satin jumpsuit €120

In the new collection, fabrics and execution remain premium and truly desirable, with a sophisticated sports-lux lens.

3. Autograph lilac dress €109

Key prints include an oversized floral in vibrant orange, complemented by soft lilac, rich caramel, and liquid metal gold feature heavily in the collection.

4. Floral Collared Long Sleeve Longline Shirt €47.50 (matching trousers also available)

Hero styles feature co-ord separates, pretty belted dresses, chic jumpsuits, and relaxed tailoring.

The collection is completed with premium leather footwear and accessories, further elevating the aesthetic.

Whether you want to go classic chic or trendy street style, there’s really something for everyone.

All pieces featured here are currently available to buy online and in Marks & Spencer stores across the Ireland.
