The flattering €14 Penneys skirt that will become your new wardrobe must-have

Keeley Ryan

Satin-look midi skirts have been popping up just about everywhere in the high street lately.

And we can totally see why they’ve become so popular: they’re not only super comfortable, they’re incredible stylish – and the perfect go-to piece when you’re not too sure what to wear.

Over the last few weeks, it feels like all of our favourite retailers – from Zara to Topshop; New Look to M&S – have released their take on the trend.

The latest of our favourite shops to share their version of the trend? None other than Penneys.

That’s right: the retailer have released a champagne-hued, satin-look skirt with an asymetrical hem – and it will only set you back €14.

It is definitely smart enough you could wear it to the office, but still casual enough that it’ll do you for drinks in the evening too.

We reckon you could pair it with a tee, a biker jacket and a pair of trainers for a comfy (but stylish) weekend look.

Or maybe with a comfy knit, a camisole and a cute pair of ankle boots for heading into the office.

The retailer also released two slightly-longer takes on the trend, a bias-cut, mustard yellow maxi skirt which is just €16 and a a green tie-dye one, for €13.

So, really, it’s not so bad if you aren’t able to make up your mind and pick just one.

Another item form Penneys we’ve got our eye on now that the sunny days are here again?

This €13 top from Penneys,

Neutrals are so on trend and that’s why this sleeveless top is sure to be a hit with shoppers this season.
