The glorious wedding dress trend we can’t wait to see more of during 2020

Cathy Donohue

The glorious wedding dress we just can’t get enough of.

Weddings, love or hate them, there’s no escaping the fact that they’re a pretty common occurrence and you’ll end up attending your fair share down through the years.

Even if you don’t love the idea of weddings, looking at stunning dresses is always fun and bridal gowns are truly special.

At the moment, there are themes and trends emerging for 2020 and one look that’s reigning supreme is the “naked back”. Yes, that’s the term for a backless wedding dress and it’s such a gorgeous style, as you’ll see from these stunning shots.

I mean, in a word- WOW.

Designers that do backless well include Rime Arodaky, Inbal Dror and Laura de Sagazan if you’re in need of some inspiration.

There’s also variety so if you’d like to wear a backless dress and opt for full sleeves, you can do that or there’s the simplicity of a  slip dress featuring stunning button detail.

We love the idea of the full skirt combined with intricate lace detail and of course, an open back. Swoon.

Or sheer sleeves and floral appliqué detail combined with a deep V at the back. I am in LOVE and although I haven’t started the hunt for the dress yet, I know there’s going to be so many stunning options to choose from.

Or if you truly want to make a statement, check out this princess-worthy gown, a big skirt and heaps of sparkle to boot. If you want a show-stopping look to match your opulent celebrations, then this might well be it.
