See you there?

Yet to make plans for the weekend ahead, mamas?

Well, if you ask us, you should head straight for Dublin and Arnotts, where their bi-annual Childrens Fashion Weekend is taking place this coming Saturday and Sunday.

And by the sounds of it, there is something for everyone in the family. In fact, we think the board game themed extravaganca will make for a fab family day out, with an abundance of entertainment, fashion and super-fun activities for everyone to enjoy.

Rueben The Entertainer will host the weekend of fun, and the program varies slightly from Saturday to Sunday. If you are thinking of heading along, here is what you need to know:

Saturday 14th October

There will be kids only fashion shows styled by Linda Conway taking place at 12.00pm, 2.00pm and 4.00pm, and prepare to be entertained with flashmob dance performances by the Vicky Barry dance troop. As well as this, Denzil the Magician will excite and amaze both young and old, and don’t miss the acrobatic performers and stilt walkers.

Sunday 15th October

On Sunday, it’s all about science, and Dr. Jennifer Cleary, a lover of all things science and a presenter on RTÉ2’s Insiders and Science Week Daily, will be demonstrating fun science experiments. So steel yourself for a bit of goo and gross, because Jennifer is known for not shying away from either.

As well as this, you will be treated to a variety of live-action games, and Lottie Doll is on hand to assist with leaf tracing and storytelling.

Oh, and don’t miss the giant board games, including Jenga, Connect 4, Lego, as well as  and balloon making and face painting and much, much more.
