On the hunt for a wedding dress?
Whether you’re a bride-to-be or just love looking at stunning gowns, there’s a huge amount of styles to swoon over.
A couple of months back we predicted that statement sleeves were going to be a key feature of 2018 bridal dressing but having had a look at the social media feeds of our favourite designers, there’s another trend in the running too.
Off-the-shoulder has featured heavily over the last couple of fashion seasons and it looks like this look is now a big deal for ladies getting married next year.
Some of the bridal industry’s most prominent names including Berta and Reem Acra included this specific style in their 2018 collections and this is one way of telling just how big it’s going to be over the next 12 months.
The off-the-shoulder trend includes variations such as long sleeves, barely-there sleeves and cap sleeves and of course, princess skirts/ fitted silhouettes too.
Of course, trends aren’t for anyone and choosing your perfect dress is about what you feel comfortable and happy in, not what someone else dictates is the next big thing.
At the same time, there’s a lot of inspiration to be found on social media and we’ll be just here hanging out, scrolling for days….
