A €27 dress from Meghan Markle’s Marks and Spencer collection has gone on sale early.

Ever since she stepped out hand-in-hand with Prince Harry to announce their engagement almost two years ago, royal-watchers have been obsessed with Meghan Markle’s wardrobe.

The duchess’s signature style is understated and functional; very fitting for a modern working royal. Now Meghan is bringing that sensibility to a charity clothing collection.

Ahead of its launch later today, a dress from the range is already available to buy on the Marks and Spencer website. The Crepe Shift Dress comes in three shades – black, pink and blue – and retails for just €27.

Another piece Meghan helped to design, the Leather Smart Set Tote Bag, has also gone on sale from John Lewis. The bag costs £109 and comes in black and tan.

Meghan will launch her range of work wear with charity Smart Works later today. The pieces will be sold through Marks and Spencer, John Lewis and Jigsaw. For each item sold, one will be donated to Smart Works,

The organisation, of which Meghan is a patron, aims to help vulnerable women get into employment.

“The reason I was drawn to Smart Works is that it re-frames the idea of charity as community, which, for me, is incredibly important: it’s a network of women supporting and empowering other women in their professional pursuits,” Meghan wrote of the project in British Vogue earlier this year.
