When VB dishes out beauty advice, you pull up a chair.

This time, the busy fashion-mogul mama-of-four chatted to The Edit about how she keeps her skin looking good, and it seems the secret to her flawless face starts in the kitchen of all places.

“I see a dermatologist in LA, called Dr. Harold Lancer, who is incredible. I’ve known him for years – he sorted my skin out,” Victoria told the magazine. “I used to have really problematic skin and he said to me, ‘You have to eat salmon every single day.’ I said, ‘Really, every day?’ And he said, ‘Yes; breakfast, lunch or dinner, you have to eat it every single day.'”

But before you conclude that eating fish with every meal seems a little excessive, there is actually a lot of science to back up why you should be scoffing salmon morning, noon and night.

Salmon (and other fatty fish) are full of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A and C. And not only are these crucial anti-inflammatories and skin moisturisers, but several studies have also shown a link between healthy skin and fish consumption.

In fact, one study published in the European Journal of Dermatology showed that those who ate a diet rich in fish and vegetables had significantly less acne than those who didn’t.

Well, I guess that’s dinner sorted, then.
