Irish Mum of two, Kate Scott, came up with the idea of an online baby boutique last year when trying to find unique clothes for her son Ryan. And while on maternity leave with her daughter Emily this summer, Scott researched and contacted several well-established and upcoming global brands who were all keen to work with her.
“Creating moonandback.ie has been both fun and challenging at the same time,” Scott explains. “With the growing trend of baby style on Instagram I wanted to try and bring some new and exciting brands to Ireland.”
The mum-of-two also reveals that gifting was especially important to her when setting up her shop. “I know the feeling of receiving a beautifully wrapped baby gift, so this was an additional service I wanted to provide. I hope people will enjoy the site, whether they are just browsing or looking for a gift for a much-loved baby or toddler in their life.”
