Fancy a fashion fix with your Friday grocery shop?
The Archive by Alexa (that’s British style queen Alexa Chung) collection has dropped at Marks & Spencer. And we want it all.
Using the extensive Marks & Spencer Company Archive in Leeds, Alexa and the M&S design team embarked on a “journey of rediscovery”.
The resulting collection includes pieces from the Forties through to the Noughties. From timeless classics like the Frances trench coat in luxe olive, taken from an original Fifties gabardine trench; to quirky style statements, like the vivid paisley print Eliza dress, a remastered apron from the fifties.
The Archive By Alexa collection is available in Grafton Street, Mary Street, Dundrum, Liffey Valley and Cork and online at marksandspencer.ie
Prices range from €29 for the Ruth vest two pack, to €135 for the Frances trench coat and there are 31 pieces to choose from, so maybe grab a trolley instead of a basket this week.
Here are our top picks from the collection:
The Eliza Dress, €68
The Edna Shirt, €53
The Nellie Boot, €99
The Harry Top, €53
The Frances Trench, €135
The Lydia Trouser, €53
The Lillian Shoe, €38
