Jessica Biel faces backlash after admitting to teaching her toddler sex ed

Actress Jessica Biel has come under fire for admitting that she teaches her two-year-old sexual education.

Some have criticized the 36-year-old mum, saying that two-years of age is too young and have called what she is doing disgusting.

Others have come out in support of the star and her decision.

Biel, who married musician Justin Timberlake in 2012, recently appeared at the 2018 MAKERS Conference and opened up about how she discusses “private parts” with her son Silas.

According to CafeMom Biel said;

“We shower together, and [we say], ‘This is what I’ve got. This is what you’ve got. We just talk about it. I know it’s really young, but I really believe that if you start this early, there’s no shame. I don’t want to tell him, ‘Keep your private parts,’ and this and that. It’s a beautiful thing. You have it and mine is different and it’s cool, man. We have to respect ourselves and respect each other.”

Some people later wrote online slamming the actress and calling her actions ‘messed up’ and ‘disgusting’.

Others felt that he was simply too young to learn about these things and that she should leave ‘the talk’ till he is older.

Though many slated the mum for her parenting decisions many agreed with her that children should be knowledgeable about their bodies and others and that there is nothing weird about it.

I personally don’t see any issue with explaining to your child that boys and girls have different body parts and had to do it myself quite early on when I was changing with my son and he wanted to know why I was ‘missing’ a body part.

What do you think? Is two-years-old too young or is it just natural for children to be curious about their bodies?
