Princess Charlotte digging for treats in her mum’s bag is every toddler ever

Trine Jensen-Burke

Toddlers are toddlers, not matter how blue their blood might be.

And this past week has shown us that even royal toddlers get up to all sorts in any unsurpervised seconds their mum is busy with something else for four seconds.

Like when the Swedish royals were gathered for little Princess Adrienne’s Christening ceremony in Stockholm, and her older sister, Princess Leonore, decided it might be fun to just roll around in the church aisle for a little bit. Which prompted this reaction (hard eye roll, obvs) from her mum, Princess Madelaine.

And much as we loved – and symphatized with – Madelaine’s toddler mum moment, these next images of little Princess Charlotte having a good, aul’ root through her mum’s handbag, possibly looking for treats or hidden toys, had us all relating even harder.

On Sunday, June 10th, Kate, George, and Charlotte were on hand to support Prince William as he competed in the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy at Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire. The polo match helped support an organization that supports homeless and at-risk youths in the U.K. And while it looked like William had a blast during the match, no one had more fun than Princess Charlotte, who cheered, ran around in circles, performed tumbles, and even did a deep dive through her mum’s purse.

I mean; how toddler is this?!

We can only wonder what Kate’s chic, white Victoria Beckham bag contains for it to be so interesting to little Charlotte, but being a very hand-on mum and expert tantrum diffuser, we reckon Supermum Kate have some wipes and toys and raisins and possibly even a few Smarties in there too, for sure.

Heck, even big brother George had a little rifle, just to make sure mum wasn’t hiding some goodies in there:
