Opening up to OK! Magazine, Danielle told them all about the anxiety she felt in the run up to the appointment. She said: "We booked a private gender scan and I had such bad anxiety in the run-up. "I’ve been through it four times and each time they’ve said it was a boy, so I was expecting them to say 'boy' again." "I felt sick. I couldn’t breathe on the way there. It was excitement, nerves, everything."
But when she was told her new baby was going to be a girl this time, Danielle couldn't hold in her emotions and burst into tears. Danielle has been desperate for a baby girl, revealing back in 2018 that her sons had been hounding her for a sister. She told Closer when she revealed her pregnancy in May: "I can’t wait to become a family of seven.
"I know there’s a risk it’ll be another boy though – having five boys would be totally mad! "But, of course, the main thing I want is for the baby to be healthy. And if it’s not a girl – we’ll just try again after!" So badly wanting a girl, Danielle considered gender selection, where parents are able to choose the gender of their baby through IVF genetic screening.
