Jennifer Aniston just broke an impressive record set by the royal family

Wow.

Denise Curtin

Jen An doesn’t need a crown to prove she’s the queen.

The Friends star accidentally “broke the internet” this week when she joined Instagram.

Managing to gain over 11.4 million likes on her first post and over 10 million followers within 24 hours, fans rushed to follow the star and welcome her on her arrival to social media.

In her first post, the 50-year-old thirst trapped all Friends fans by sharing a reunion pic that got everyone going gaga thinking a new episode might be in the works.

Others believed the pair were back for a Christmas advert special or to go on tour.

However, nothing has yet to be confirmed.

But as many ran to follow Jennifer, some noticed that the app slightly crashed due to the influx of traffic on her page. One fan asked why they couldn’t click follow to which the one and only Rachel Green replied:

“Sorry, I think I broke it!”

And broke it she did, Jennifer kicked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle off their new podium as the fastest account to reach one million followers. She beat them by almost 30 minutes, getting one million followers in five hours 16 minutes.

Now, that’s impressive.

Fellow Friends stars also welcomed Jennifer to Insta too with Courtney Cox writing:

“Hi Jen! Welcome to the social media world… it sucks. You’re gonna love it!”
