Baking with the kids this Easter Bank Holiday?

Looking for something that’s quick, easy and will keep them entertained?

Is there a birthday party coming up that requires some sweet snacks?

Whatever the case may be, this simple recipe is sure to sort you out and keep the younger folk happy.

(Plus, it requires basically no skill and little mess which is music to our ears!)

What you need:

200g milk chocolate

200g white chocolate

8 Malteser Bunny chocolates

Mini Eggs

Sprinkles

Method:

  1. Melt the milk chocolate in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring constantly to make sure it doesn’t burn. Once melted, pour the milk chocolate into a parchment-lined baking tin to a rough 25.5 x 28cm (10 x 11in) rectangle.
  2. Pop the chocolate tray into the fridge for 10 minutes to cool.
  3. While the milk chocolate is cooling, melt the white chocolate as above. Then, remove the milk chocolate from the fridge and pour the white chocolate over, spreading it with a spatula so it creates two even layers.
  4. Next, add your toppings pressing them down into the bark and leave to set before breaking into shards.

Voila.
