Queen Elizabeth managed to sneak her way into Louis’ Christening photos

Rebecca O'Keeffe

Sneaky sneaky.

So we know by now that the Queen, and Prince Philip, missed out on the Christening of Prince Louis.

The palace explained that this was not as a result of heath issues, the pair are just busy.

Fair, being the Queen of the United Kingdom isn’t exactly dull.

Anyway, it would seem as though, despite her absence, Elizabeth II managed to feature in the official pictures on the day.

How so, I hear you ask?

Well, behind the group in the photo, there is a painting of Queen Elizabeth.

The painting, done by Michael Noakes, hangs in the Morning Room of Clarence House.

It’s actually sweet, because it looks as though the Queen is looking over her family.

If you’re looking at the photos, the painting is floating around the top of Harry’s head in one, and Michael Middleton’s in the other.

Now, the jury is still out on whether or not photographer Matt Holyoak did this on purpose.

Either way, it is lovely to see that the Matriarch of the whole family made an appearance in the pictures.

Especially when you consider that the photos taken will probably be in historical archives in 100 years.
