Can you imagine?

A woman who had no idea she was pregnant gave birth to a baby boy on a plane 30,000ft in the air, last week.

Lavinia Mounga was flying from Salt Lake City to Honolulu with her family, when she began to experience what she eventually realised were contractions.

Lavinia had no idea when she began to feel the cramps mid-flight that she would end up giving birth in the air.

Oh lordy.

The birth went viral when fellow traveller, Julia Hansen posted about it on TikTok.

In the video, Julia, who works as a cabin crew manager, can be heard saying: “A baby was just born on this plane.”

The pilot then says: “As most of you have probably heard, we just had a child birth on the aircraft, let’s have a nice round of applause for the mother. Congratulations.”

New mam Lavinia Tweeted after the dramatic ordeal that she was “overwhelmed in the best ways.”

The surprise baby, who has been named Raymond Kaimana Wade Kobe Lavaki Mounga, will have the most amazing story to tell for the rest of his life.
