Coleen and Wayne Rooney have been the centre of much media attention of late after the Everton footballer was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
The father of three was later charged with the aforementioned offence and it emerged that he had been driving a 29-year-old woman home, after meeting her earlier in the evening.
Although previously, rumours had suggested Coleen ended their marriage as a result of his arrest, they’re now believed to be making another go of things.
Wayne supposedly agreed to cut down on socialising and drinking but he asked Colleen something in return.
According to The Sun, the former England player told his wife that she’s taking too many holidays and said this needs to stop.
“He’s told her he is willing to stop going out if that means she will stay with him. But he hasn’t totally held back himself.
“He’s pointed the finger at Coleen over the number of holidays she takes and she’s raised questions about his nights out.
“In the end it’ll need some give-and-take on both sides to get everything back to normal”.
However, the mother of three is reportedly determined to ignore his plea because she’s apparently planning her annual week to Dubai when her two older children are on mid-term break in October.
It looks like Coleen, who’s expecting the couple’s fourth child, is going to hold her ground on this one…
