PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING INTO ANY ADVERTISING AGREEMENT WITH HERFAMILY
These Advertising Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all advertising bookings, campaigns, commercial partnerships, branded content agreements and promotional activities carried out with HerFamily, operated by HF Media Ltd (“We”, “Us”, “Our”).
By confirming an advertising booking or submitting advertising materials, you (“Advertiser”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions
- “Advertiser” refers to any individual, company or agency placing ads or commercial content with HerFamily.
- “Campaign” means all advertising, branded content, sponsorship or promotional activity agreed between HerFamily and the Advertiser.
- “Materials” refers to all assets provided by the Advertiser including text, images, video, creatives, instructions, brand guidelines and tracking links.
- “Platforms” include HerFamily.ie, HerFamily social channels, newsletters, and any affiliated digital media properties.
2. Booking & Acceptance
2.1. All advertising bookings are subject to approval and availability.
2.2. A booking is confirmed only when HerFamily issues written acceptance or a signed insertion order.
2.3. We reserve the right to refuse any advertisement or campaign at our sole discretion without obligation to provide a reason.
3. Advertiser Responsibilities
3.1. The Advertiser must supply all Materials by the agreed deadlines.
3.2. Materials must comply with all relevant laws, advertising standards, and industry codes (including ASAI guidelines).
3.3. The Advertiser warrants that all Materials:
- Are accurate, legal and non-misleading
- Do not infringe copyright, trademarks or third-party rights
- Are free from harmful code, malware or tracking beyond what is declared
3.4. The Advertiser indemnifies HerFamily against any claims arising from the content, legality, or distribution of the Materials.
4. Content & Creative Production
4.1. For branded content, HerFamily may create materials in collaboration with the Advertiser.
4.2. HerFamily retains ownership of all content it creates, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.3. HerFamily retains editorial control over all content published on its platforms, including the right to refuse, edit or remove content that does not comply with our standards or regulatory requirements.
4.4. All sponsored or paid content will be clearly disclosed in accordance with Irish and EU advertising regulations.
5. Placement, Performance & Delivery
5.1. While reasonable efforts are made to deliver agreed impressions, engagement or reach, HerFamily does not guarantee specific performance metrics unless explicitly stated in a signed contract.
5.2. Estimated campaign timelines and audience reach are indicative only and may vary.
5.3. HerFamily is not responsible for delays caused by the Advertiser failing to submit Materials on time.
6. Changes, Cancellation & Postponements
6.1. Campaign changes requested by the Advertiser after approval may incur additional fees.
6.2. Cancellations must be made in writing.
6.3. Campaigns cancelled within 14 days of launch may be subject to full or partial charges depending on work already carried out or space reserved.
6.4. HerFamily may cancel or postpone campaigns for operational, editorial or regulatory reasons. In such cases, reasonable alternatives will be offered where possible.
7. Fees, Payment & Invoicing
7.1. All rates and fees will be agreed in writing prior to campaign launch.
7.2. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are issued upon campaign commencement and must be paid within 30 days.
7.3. Late payments may result in campaign suspension and the application of interest charges as permitted by law.
7.4. All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
8. Data, Tracking & Reporting
8.1. Tracking pixels and third-party tags must be pre-approved by HerFamily.
8.2. HerFamily will provide reporting as agreed with the Advertiser.
8.3. All data collected is subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.
8.4. Performance data cannot be used by the Advertiser for resale or transferred to third parties without consent.
9. Liability
9.1. HerFamily is not liable for:
- Failure of digital platforms beyond our reasonable control
- Loss of profits or business
- Indirect or consequential damage
9.2. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury or other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1. The Advertiser grants HerFamily a licence to use all Materials for the duration of the Campaign.
10.2. The Advertiser warrants they have full rights to use all Materials supplied.
10.3. HerFamily retains all rights to editorial content, branded content produced by our team, and the layout/format of our site and platforms.
11. Termination
11.1. HerFamily may terminate a Campaign immediately if the Advertiser:
- Breaches these Terms
- Provides inappropriate or unlawful content
- Damages or risks damaging HerFamily’s reputation
11.2. Work completed up to the termination date will remain payable.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by Irish law.
Both parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
