10 baby boy names with serious swagger (that cool parents will love)

Which one is YOUR favourite?

Trine Jensen-Burke

If you are currently expecting and already know that you’ll be seeing blue, we bet your could do with a little bit of inspiration on a the name front, no?

With so many gorgeous choices when it comes to naming your bundle, it can be hard to know what direction to go, traditional, unique or even just short and sweet. If you are open for suggestions, though, here are 10 names we think are totally awesome:

1. Sebastian

Sebastian has Greek origins and was the name of choice for celebrity parents like Malin Akerman and Tommy Hilfiger.

2. Jayce

There’s no history behind it, but for the decidedly modern mama, Jayce may have just the amount of originality she’s looking for.

3 Orion

Orion comes from classical mythology and astronomy—the hunter. But although the name is old, it sounds totally new, no?

4. Wilder

Defined as “to cause to lose one’s way,” it doesn’t get much more bad boy than this. So cool.

5. Rocco

Italian in origin, this moniker has star quality.

6. Gabriel

Gabriel was one of the seven archangels, so it is a name with quite a history behind it. In latter years, Gabriel has become a very popular name in Spain and Scandinavia, and you can shorten it to the very sweet “Gabe”.

7. Matteo

Matteo is an Italian name, thought to originally mean “Son of God.”

8. Jasper

We love this spelling, a slightly more unusual variant of the English Caspar.

9. Milo

Milo means “destroyer” in Greek, although in English the name is thought to mean “soldier”. A version of Miles.

10. Andreas

Punch up the more dated Andrew with this slightly more exotic European version.
