100 vintage baby names predicted to make a huge comeback this year

The trend of late has been very much in favour of picking a rather unique or even way out there name for you new bundle.

After all, what better way to make sure they won’t be sharing a moniker with half of their class?

But the tide appears to be about to change, with many more parents picking names with a little more history for their little ones.

Vintage baby names are currently storming the charts in the US, and as with most trends, will more than likely spread over here eventually.

The folks at Nameberry came up with a list of monikers that featured in the top 500 most popular ones back in 1918 – but haven’t cracked the top 1,000 names in more recent years.

The 100 names, they predicted, are likely to find their way back to the top of the charts once again.
