“There is no point in fighting it.”
Joe Swash has revealed that he and Stacey Solomon have chosen a name for their unborn child – although neither of them actually picked it.
The couple announced they were expecting their first child together in February. Stacey has two sons from a previous relationship: 10-year-old Zachary and 6-year-old Leighton. Joe has one son, 11-year-old Harry.
And the TV presenter revealed that while he and Stacey already know what they’re going to name their child, neither of them picked it – once of Stacey’s children did.
He told The Sun:
“We have chosen a name for our baby. It wasn’t my choice. There is no point in fighting it. Don’t stress and you’ll make yourself a lot happier.
“I do like the name. One of her kids chose it. I can’t say more. If I give away what we are having I will have to sleep at my mum’s.”
His comments come a few days after Stacey admitted they do know whether they’re going to be expecting a boy or girl – although they’re not going to tell anyone.
During an interview with OK Online, she said;
“We found out, we’re really impatient! We’re not going to tell anyone because it’s not important, but we are excited.
“I think it’s nice to have something that’s ours, and we can tell our kids so they know and nobody else knows.
“That was our reasoning behind it, and them being able to get prepared, too.”
