‘I can’t wait to see what it’s like to be a mom”: Lindsay Lohan opens up about pending motherhood

Freaky Friday actress, Lindsay Lohan said she “can’t wait” to be a mum and revealed the parenting advice her former co-star Jamie Lee Curtis shared with her.

The star announced the exciting news in March taking to Instagram with a photo of a baby grow that read “coming soon”.

In a recent interview with US magazine Allure, Lindsay opened up about how she’s feeling as her due date edges closer and closer.

She said although she finds the experience a tad bit “over-whelming” at times, she said it’s “in a good way” but she’s been very emotional.

She said: “I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom.

“It’s happy tears. That’s just who I am. Though now, it’s probably baby emotion.”

The Mean Girls actress married her husband, Bader Shammas in April 2022 and shared the “unexciting” way she told him the pregnancy news.

She remembered seeing a positive symbol on the pregnancy test and just walking into the next room to tell Bader.

She explained: “It was so unexciting. I walked into the room, I threw the test down. I was like, ‘Guess what?’

“He goes, ‘We are?'”

After the huge success of movie, Freaky Friday, Lindsay and co-star Jame Lee Curtis remained in touch and always seemed close.

During the interview, Lindsay shared what parenting advice her friend gave her recently.

She said Jamie’s advice put her at ease and it was what she needed to hear.

Lindsay said: “I spoke to Jamie Lee Curtis recently and she was like, ‘You just bring the baby with you and everything will be fine.'”

Last month, the actress shared the most special pictures of her baby shower.

Lindsay wrote, “We are blessed and excited!” alongside the snap and had thousands of people congratulate her in the comments.
